Astrology highlights for the week of July 31, 2022:
 
00:49 – This week's theme is: Awakening to a new reality! Awakenings is a 1990 movie directed by Penny Marshall and stars Robert DeNiro and Robin Williams. Is your perception of the world changing? Something this week may be a "wow" moment!
 
02:25 – The three big things this week: First, Uranus joins the Lunar North Node (NN) on Sunday, followed by Mars. This party of three is a big deal and is happening at 18 Taurus! Will we see more on the border crisis or something related to scientific discoveries? Extreme urges for freedom and independence? Uranus can bring sudden, shocking events that change life, and Mars tends to cut and sever – think of MMA fighting! Also, on Sunday, Mars is on asteroid Niobe: Lessons could be learned through children this week, or there could be lessons around humility. Will we see legal action around gun control to prevent school shootings? And, Venus is on asteroid Sappho: Enough with the anti-LGBTQIA+ laws!
 
09:47 – Second, Mercury enters Virgo, its home sign, from Aug 3 – Aug 25. Bring order to chaos: This is a wonderful time to do mundane tasks that take attention to detail. Go ahead, organize and declutter. Do watch out for being overly critical or perfectionistic.
 
12:02 – Third, we have the First Quarter (FQ) Moon at 13 Scorpio on Aug 5. It could be intense, as it is conjunct the South Node (SN) and opposite the Taurus pileup. Venus is on the World Point of 22.5  Cancer; Venus is also quincunx Saturn and trine Neptune. Jupiter is contraparallel Neptune, which goes until Aug 5: Jupiter makes everything bigger, and is in a fire sign, so please take care in case of big storms or wildfires. Ensure you have the resources you need: water, car tank full of gas, etc.
 
15:43 – On Sunday, the word of the day is ENLIGHTENMENT. The oracle card is THE BOX. Consider how you limit yourself. Are you ready to break free?
 
18:09 – On Monday, the theme is UPHEAVAL. The oracle card is THE VENOM. Speak kindly to yourself and others. The crescent Moon phase begins at 24 Virgo at 10:32 am PT, and the Moon enters Libra at 9:05 pm PT.
 
20:05 – Tuesday's focus is DEVOTION. The oracle card is AGAPE. You may have the opportunity for a new partnership, money opportunity, or project.
 
22:15 – On Wednesday, the word is MAGNETISM. The oracle card is THE SIREN. Contemplate how you can be more receptive to abundance. Mercury enters Virgo at 11:57 pm PT. Put on your thinking cap.
 
23:03 – On Thursday, the theme is DECISIVE. The oracle card is THE SWORD. Separate the wheat from the chaff. The Moon enters Scorpio at 4:46 am PT.

Astrology highlights for the week of July 24, 2022:
 
00:49 – This week's theme is: Facing your fears! Celeste pulled a card from the Oracle of Mystical Moments deck, #13: Morning Dew Girl. (Here's Celeste's Amazon storefront!)
 
02:54 – The three big things for this week are: First, it's the week of the Warrior Woman! Venus (women, love, beauty, relationships) is in Cancer and contra parallel Pluto (destruction, power, obsession, transformation, corruption) in Capricorn: It's an aspect by declination that has been running for weeks. Also, Jupiter (truth, law) is parallel to Diana (goddess the huntress), an asteroid associated with predation and protection. Additionally, the Sun is conjunct asteroid Isis (a central goddess in Egyptian mythology; the sister and wife of Osiris). She is associated with healing and restoration, as well as fragmentation vs. wholeness. Celeste ponders this energy and makes comparisons to Liz Cheney. So keep your eyes open for women standing up against authority! Or use this energy to watch the movie Norma Rae! 08:01 – Second, the Leo New Moon is on Jul 28 at 5 degrees Leo! The Sun is in its domicile here, where it can be creative, life-giving, joyful, and expressive. Set intentions about what you'd like to do in your own life to think big and create joy! There is a fixed t-square with Mercury (18 Leo) square Uranus and the North Node (NN) in Taurus; of course, Mercury is also square the South Node in Scorpio too! We may get an idea of what will happen next week when Uranus conjuncts the NN and Mars meet them on July 31/Aug 1. Celeste offers some thoughts about how this may play out on the world stage. 11:30 – Third, Jupiter in Aries stations retrograde (Rx) from July 28 to Nov 23! Jupiter rules abundance, including wealth, good fortune, morality, truth, faith, the search for meaning, justice, confidence, and optimism, as well as mundane topics such as travel, lawsuits, and higher education. A Rx planet cannot do its job as effectively. In horary astrology, this could signify delays and reversal of fortune. Planning and good luck can slow down. This energy will be felt more strongly five days before and after the exact station.
 
14:02 – On Sunday, the word of the day is MODERATION. The balsamic Moon is at 16 Gemini at 7:52 am. Relax and release. Watch out for desires to escape.
 
16:06 – On Monday, the theme is METHODICAL. The Moon enters Cancer at 10:53 am PT. Please don't push yourself too hard as we are in the dark of the Moon cycle. Listen to your body and intuition. Drink lots of water and consider a bath.
 
16:58 – Tuesday's focus is PRIDE. Be brave, share your accomplishments and take a risk.
 
18:19 – On Wednesday, the word is PATHFINDER. The Moon enters Leo at 11:37 pm PT. How can you be a map maker and chart your course? Have confidence in yourself!
 
19:51 – On Thursday, the theme is SELF-EXPRESSION. The New Moon is at 5 Leo at 10:54 am PT. Jupiter stations retrograde at 8 Aries. Set intentions for what you want to grow in your life for joy. What is your big vision? How can you improve your leadership skills?
 
21:27 – On Friday, the focus is CHILL. There is the potential for surprising news. Pause and take a deep breath before reacting.
 
22:16 – On Saturday, the word is JOYFUL. The Moon enters Virgo at 11:10 am PT. An excellent day for decluttering and organizing. Whistle while you work.

Astrology highlights for the week of July 17, 2022:
 
00:49 – This week's theme is: No time for Circus Monkeys! The three big things to focus on this week: First, the fixed star Procyon is active this week, conjunct to the Sun (25 Cancer). Bernadette Brady likens this to fireworks – it's great to watch but fades. Opportunities may present themselves that you have to grab quickly, so if you're offered an opportunity, consider if it helps to diversify your talents! Also, faulty structures may collapse this week – keep an eye out. This star is also associated with dog bites and hydrophobia (fear of water). Stay cognizant about your surroundings this week, too.
 
02:34 – Second, we'll have an Aries Last Quarter Moon on the Sabian symbol, "A large disappointed audience." The Cancer Sun opposes Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto's symbol is "A large aviary," and Celeste makes interesting observations about what is happening in Sri Lanka: Is there an increase in dissatisfaction with governments in general? When Pluto is activated, there can also be a feeling of empowerment and a drive to transform – do watch out for emotional reactivity! On the plus side, there can be profound emotional healing. Celeste also reviews the Lunar Phase Families, so consider these dates: mid-April 2020, mid-Jan. 2021, mid-Oct 2021, and mid-July 2022. What stories connect for you? 06:20 – Third: Leo Season begins on Friday! The Sun is at home in this fixed fire sign, where life renews itself. Consider how you can be the sovereign in your own life. Leo, the lion, is a leader: What are you loyal to? For a song of the season, check out Katy Perry's song Roar! Leo is also about self-expression and confidence. 08:46 – On Sunday, the word of the day is FLOAT. The Pisces Moon invites you to drift and dream. Accept all opportunities snuggling, as it is healing.
 
10:26 – On Monday, the theme is OPPORTUNITY. The Moon enters Aries at 11:22 am PT. If opportunities present themselves, trust your instincts and take action.
 
11:50 – Tuesday's focus is IMAGINATION. Stay present for a light bulb moment. Consider the positive use of imagination vs. letting fear, paranoia, or obsession take over.
 
14:17 – On Wednesday, the word is EXPLOSIVE. The Last Quarter Moon is at 27 Aries at 7:18 am PT. The Moon enters Taurus at 11:22 am PT. Observe the conversations around you. Stay grounded, plan your next steps and keep things simple.
 
15:35 – On Thursday, the theme is PROGRESS. What we nourish grows. What are you feeding? Are they the right things? Release what is no longer serving you. Today, you may meet people who can help you.

Astrology highlights for the week of July 10, 2022:
 
00:49 – This week's theme is: Adjusting to a new reality! This week has three big things to discuss: First, the US is in the heart of its Pluto Return, and Celeste shares lots of information about this! Pluto's energy is emotional, transformational, volcanic, and can be a purification by fire; it burns things to the studs and brings shadows to light. It can also be intensely healing by bringing uncomfortable issues into collective awareness. The US Pluto is in the 2nd house; we are seeing fluctuations around money, inflation, the stock market, interest rates, and monetary policy. It is also the house of values: Is democracy holding on by a thread? Also, we are seeing more government involvement around sex and reproduction (e.g., Roe v. Wade). And will we see future government involvement around birth control and marriage equality? (To learn more about Celeste's Return to the Stars reading, check out her website!)
 
10:05 – Second, we have a Full Moon in Capricorn this week! The Sun is in Cancer, emphasizing emotional safety and security and how we protect ourselves. The Moon in Cap references control, duty, responsibility, and tradition. This Full Moon trines Uranus and is approaching a sextile with Neptune; it also joins Pluto. Wow! If your chart is activated, there may be intense emotions around this lunation regarding the themes highlighted here. Prepare for illumination.
 
12:35 – Third: We have multiple quincunx aspects this week! This is when the planets talking to each other are 150 degrees apart and are in signs with nothing in common by mode or element. The quincunx emphasizes the need for adjustment – it's like an irritant and pushes us to move in new directions. (Want to read Bernadette Brady's book? 15:35 - On Sunday, the word of the day is AWAKEN. The Moon enters Sagittarius at 1:34 am PT. See if you notice an uplifting mood shift. Get out in nature.

18:40 – Tuesday's focus is CATHARSIS. The Moon enters Capricorn at 2:01 am PT. A great day to focus on productivity.

Astrology highlights for the week of July 3, 2022:
 
00:49 – This week's theme is: Independence! This week we highlight the song “Independent Women” by Destiny’s Child! We can stand in our own power truth, and independence! Enjoy the video on YouTube!
 
01:33 – The 3 big things this week: First, Monday is July 4th weekend in USA. Be mindful of your safety this holiday weekend! We still have Mars square Pluto in effect, and this can be volatile. Also, Mercury is separating from the square with Neptune: Popping off with witty or funny jokes is possible, but be aware there can be misunderstandings. This can be a difficult combo, so stay safe! Also, most folks know Roe v. Wade was overturned recently, and Celeste offers some insights into this. Check out Celeste's Instagram feed for the special report on June 24th for a deeper dive.
 
05:09 – Second: On Monday, Mars (action) and Mercury (communication) are at the anaretic degrees of their signs (the last degree), and both are in yang signs, so energy expresses outward. In these signs – the signs of dignity – a planet can easily express its energy. Celeste covers a little info on horary astrology, too: At the last degrees of every sign, the planets report in to the malefics (Mars or Saturn), and this gives a more forceful feeling, so words could turn to violence. Again, take heed and be cautious. On a positive note, though, you may come up with a great idea and have the determination to put goals into action! 08:12 – Third: This week, we have a First Quarter Moon (FQM) – a time when people take action – in Cardinal signs (initiating energy). What goals did you set at the New Moon in Cancer last week, and how is that going? Time to review, assess, and move forward. Also, the Sun will be on the fixed star Sirius, “the dog star.” Sirius is in the constellation Canis Minor, and is the brightest fixed star; it’s also known as “the Shining one and the Scorcher.” Sirius can bestow honor, renown, wealth, ardor, faithfulness, devotion, passion, and resentment. 11:11 – On Sunday, the word of the day is PASSIONATE! The Moon moves from Leo to Virgo at 5:31am PT. It a good day to remember your high and low road choices. Do you want to have a fun day and be helpful. Or leave heard feelings with critical or sarcastic commentary.
 
13:22 – On Monday, the theme is TURBULENT. Mars enters Taurus at 11:03 pm PT. Mercury enters Cancer at 11:24 pm PT. Speaking and acting out of emotion could lead to serious conflict. Channel your passion positively.
 
15:16 – Tuesday's focus is BALANCE. Moon enters Libra at 3:24 pm PT. Strive to bring harmony. Keep your wig on straight and stay unbothered.
 
16:07 – On Wednesday, the theme is SANCTIFIED.  The Sun is conjunct the fixed star Sirius at 14 Cancer How can you find the sacred in the mundane of everyday rituals? FQ Moon at 14 Libra perfects at 7:13 pm PT. Review your New Moon intentions and adjust as needed. Keep the momentum!
 
17:40 – On Thursday, the word is UNBOTHERED. Mercury is conjunct the asteroid Sisyphus. Watch out for frustration. The Moon enters Scorpio 10:14 pm PT. Your dreams could be intense.
 
19:07 – On Friday, the focus is COMPOSURE. People may be extra emotional. Don’t let anyone knock your crown off.
 
20:44 – On Saturday, the word is ADVENTUROUS! Have fun. Get outside into nature.

Astrology highlights for the week of June 26, 2022:
 
00:48 – This week's theme is: The Sweet Smell of Success! Celeste pulled a card from The Oracle of Mystical Moments: It's #22, Like a Bird. "Surround yourself with activities or people who make you feel inspired."
 
02:15 – The 3 big things this week: First, the Moon is out of bounds most of the week. Out-of-bounds is when a celestial body goes beyond the maximum declination of 23°27', either north or south. The planet is outside the boundary or limits of the ecliptic plane, beyond the plane of the Sun's apparent orbit around the Earth. Out-of-bounds planets take on a Uranian flavor. And the Moon represents the mood of the people, so you may find that folks are acting out of emotion more easily. On the positive side, we can use this energy to move past limitations!
 
03:40 – Second, this week, there are some fruitful sextiles! Mars and Saturn sextile on Monday, and Jupiter and Venus on Tuesday. Sextiles offer an opportunity; they are 60-degree aspects and can bring ease and flow and opportunities for growth through people or situations. Astrologer Frank Clifford recently said, "The definition of success is talent + energy + courage."
 
04:57 – Third, this week, we have a New Moon at 7 Cancer on Tuesday! Cancer is a cardinal sign, which means the energy is initiating. It's also a water sign: How can you trust your gut this week? (Don't forget to download Celeste's complimentary  Setting Intentions Guide!) This New Moon will square Jupiter: How can you be joyful and feel abundant, even through these difficult times?
 
06:08 – On Sunday, the word of the day is POSITIVITY! The Balsamic Moon in Gemini invites us to be flirty and have fun. Avoid mind games.
 
07:23 – On Monday, the theme is PURSUIT. Mars in Aries sextiles Saturn in Aquarius. Hard work and persistence pay off.
 
09:09 – Tuesday's focus is SERENDIPITY!   Moon enters Cancer at 4:53 am PT. New Moon at 7 Cancer at 7:52 pm PT. Set intentions for what you want to grow and nurture.
 
11:22 – On Wednesday, the main idea is to SHINE. Shine bright like a diamond. #Rihanna

The ascendant of this chart is 21 Gemini, which is the degree of the USA Mars. Also, Saturn sits at the Midheaven, and is retrograde. Saturn rules hardship and restrictions. Saturn squares Venus at 28 Taurus in the 12th house. Venus is still near Algol and trine Pluto at 28 Capricorn: Will inflation continue to rise? The US continues in its Pluto return; things are being unearthed, and the next conjunction is July 11 in the 2nd house of values and resources, including money. The Sun (the leader) in Cancer also is square the Moon (the people) in Aries.

00:54 – The week's Big 3: First, a Sagittarius Full Moon could be illuminating for all! The birth of this lunar gestational family was on Dec 14, 2020. This New Moon was a  Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius! The Sabian Symbol for this lunation is "A bluebird, a sign of good luck and happiness, is standing at the door of the house." What can you invite in? This Full Moon sextiles Saturn at 25 Aquarius and squares Neptune at 25 Pisces: Reality is available. How can you bring structure to the dream this week? 02:10– The week's Big 3: First, Saturn is stationing to go retrograde (Rx) at 25 Aquarius, and Celeste breaks this down. You may be tested or required to take on more responsibility or may notice increased fear, anxiety, frustration, or limitations. Will the Lord of Karma reward you or call you to account for past actions? Saturn is also parallel Arachne (in myth, she was a weaver turned into a spider by goddess Athena). Saturn is retrograde until Oct. 22, 2022.
 
06:11 – Second, Mercury is direct, but still on 26 Taurus and the fixed star Algol. It continues to square Saturn but is sextile Neptune at 25 Pisces and trine Pluto at 28 Capricorn. Used well, this may bring creative thinking, the determination to stay with complex tasks, and the will to power through disappointments to get success. Celeste discusses current events and the tragic Uvalde school shooting. The mantra for the week is, "I communicate clearly; when unsure, I request clarification."

Uranus joins Pallas Athene at 16 Taurus, which may bring aha moments of clarity. Finally, Mars squares Ceres. How can you take action for what you want to grow and nurture?
 
15:40 – The archetype for Tuesday is THE UNDERWORLD. How can you face your fears? Today we have a First Quarter Moon (FQM) at 16 Virgo (7:48 am PT), encouraging us to take action. The Sun is on the fixed star Rigel, part of the constellation Orion. This FQM brings us back to the New Moon from last Sept. 6, 2021, at 14 Virgo: What did you start then, where are you now, and where do you want to be in March 2023 at the related Full Moon? The Sun in Gemini semisquares Uranus in Taurus and also quintiles Jupiter. Mars in Aries semisquares Saturn in Aquarius, which may bring tension with authority. Mars also quintiles Pluto in Cap: How can you work with power structures uniquely?
 
19:58 – On Wednesday, the archetype is ALETHEIA or TRUTH. Will there be clarity or revelations today? The Moon enters Libra at 8:22 am and ends with a square to Pluto: Remember that some wealth can come from underground.
 
20:44 – Thursday's archetype is THE WARRIOR, so you may have to stand up for your principles. Venus contraparallels Saturn, possibly bringing tense interactions in relationships. And Mars contraparallels Neptune, which can speak of a spiritual warrior.
 
21:31 – On Friday, the archetype is THE SIREN. The Moon enters Scorpio at 1:41 pm PT and is in the Gibbous Phase at 5 degrees. The last aspect is an opposition to Mercury – sexy talk, anyone?

Astrology highlights for the week of May 29, 2022:
 
00:49 – This week's theme is "the hero's journey." Do you feel an internal push to move forward? Remember, you're always the hero of your journey! And here's a helpful mantra: "I move past fear, delays, and obstacles - and persevere!"
 
01:54 – The Big 3 - First, we are now in Gemini Season. This is a mutable air sign that rules communication. Watch for being scattered or anxious: Ground yourself! How can you be sociable? Flexibility, adaptability and  curiosity are key.
 
02:47 – Next, Mercury (which rules Gemini) is retrograde (Rx). It will station on fixed star Algol at 26 Taurus. It's also squaring Saturn at 25 Aquarius. Try not to rush decisions or pressure others. How can you be clear, realistic, and purposeful with your thoughts? It might be helpful to lean into the sextile to Neptune at 25 Pisces and trine to Pluto at 28 Capricorn. Consider: How can you find creative, compassionate, and inspired solutions? How can you be transformative, overcome obstacles, and embrace grit? Celeste discusses how these energies show up in the Depp/Heard trial.
 
09:20 – Finally, Mars and Jupiter will meet in Aries! They are starting a new cycle around action and abundance. Also, the New Moon this week is on the royal fixed star Aldebaran (9 Gemini). Aldebaran is linked to Mars and Jupiter, and is about success through integrity and honesty – but there's always a price. (If you fail and are not in alignment with integrity, there can be a fall.) How can you embrace enthusiasm and have a pioneering spirit to move forward?
 
12:57 – On Sunday, the word of the day is DELICIOUS. The week starts with the Moon in Taurus; it's the Balsamic Phase and a time of release. Be present with any thoughts or dreams that may come up to reflect your eclipse story. With ruler Venus also in Taurus, this is yummy! This is the day Mars and Jupiter join up at 3 Aries, so we may feel optimism and a drive to move forward! The shadow can be self-aggrandizement – try not to be obnoxious! The Moon enters Gemini at 10:22 am PT. And the Sun is on Prosperina; connect with family today if possible.
 
15:06 – On Monday, the word is GRIT. There's a New Moon at 9 Gemini (4:30 am PT). It's been a tough time, so think of how you can move forward steadily and persevere through difficulties. This lunation is conjunct the royal fixed star Aldebaran. How can you manage multiple opposing priorities that demand attention? Mercury is also parallel Sualocin: Lighten up! Mars parallels Jupiter today: You may have feelings of exuberance and a desire to conquer new frontiers. The Moon enters Cancer at 10:48pm PT: Notice your dreams!
 
19:16 – On Wednesday (Mercury's day) the word is MINDFUL. Avoid power struggles today: Pluto in Capricorn sequisquares Juno in Pisces. Try to recognize emotions and limit reactions.
 
20:12 – Thursday's focus is SATISFACTION. The sky is quiet as the Moon remains in Cancer. Stay emotionally grounded. Get out of your head and into your heart. How can you be at home wherever you are?
 
20:59 – Friday's main topic is WANDERLUST. We have a Crescent Moon, so you may feel the pull forward. Mercury stations direct today (yay!) at 26 Taurus on fixed star Algol. The Sun is parallel asteroid Lilith: Will we have news about a woman who will not be subservient? The Moon enters Leo at 11:37 am PT – woo hoo!
 
23:38 – Saturday's word is FESTIVE. Saturn stations retrograde at 25 Aquarius. It will be Rx until Oct 23, 2022, and will go back to 18 Aquarius: We may have a sense of treading over old ground.
