Astrology highlights for the week of October 9, 2022:
00:49 – This week's theme is: Beauty and the Beast! And please join Celeste at her Scorpio season webinar on October 16. Also, Celeste is presenting on the Moon Phase Families for AFAN on October 20, and you're invited to that as well – both are free and open to the public!
02:40 – This week's three big things: First, on October 9 we have a Full Moon at 16 Aries on the axis of relationships. The Sun is conjunct Venus, and both are in a trine to Saturn: What is worth your effort? How do you express yourself in relationships? There's also a grand trine in Air (Sun in Libra, Mars in Gemini, Saturn in Aquarius): How do you create structures in relationships? How do you commit yourself? This Moon Phase Family started at the New Moon at 22 Aries (April 11, 2021); 9 months later, the First Quarter Moon was at 9 Aries (January 9, 2022); now we have the Full Moon; and the Last Quarter in this series will be at 17 Aries (July 9, 2023). Where are you a pioneer in your life?

10:45 – Third, Mars in Gemini squares Neptune in Pisces on Tuesday (October 11) at 23 Gemini/Pisces for the first of 3 times (the other 2 are on November 19, 2022, and March 14, 2023). This may bring instability and scattered energy. Will we see more of people fighting over their beliefs? Reach out to people who may be feeling down; self-care is essential during this transit. How can you pursue your dreams?

Astrology highlights for the week of October 2, 2022:
00:49 – This week's theme is: Back in Business! Drumroll, please…. Mercury and Pluto station direct!
01:00 – This week's three big things: First, Mercury stations direct on Oct. 2! Was this Mercury retrograde (Rx) period frustrating for you? Mercury turned Rx on Sept. 9 at 9 Libra and backed up to 24 Virgo. You may get clarity about things from the past as we tread over old ground. Some folks are dealing with betrayal (Libra is associated with relationships). And Mercury stations direct opposite Neptune, the planet of illusions and delusions, so stories of disillusionment have been present, too. Another feature was that Mercury stationed Rx opposite Jupiter – we saw stories such as the death of the Queen of England and "David vs. Goliath" stories such as the Ukraine invasion. Celeste also discusses the sad story of the murder of Mahsa Amini in Iran. The Sabian symbol for 25 Virgo, which speaks to this story, is "A flag at half-mast over a public building."
06:55 – Second, we have a First Quarter Moon (FQM) at 9 Capricorn on Sunday, Oct. 2. The Moon is on fixed star Facies, with associations as both a violent star and someone who fights for justice for others; we can use this energy to have focus. (Interestingly, it's also associated with blindness and poor eyesight). The Sun is on 9 Cap and the fixed star Diadem (the crown star). Celeste draws associations to Meghan Markle and how she is treated in the press – this FQM is activating her chart. Venus (love, beauty, harmony) is in Libra, forming a Hammer of Thor with the Saturn/Uranus square at the base. Watch for stories of powerful women in the news! Finally, Mercury is opposite Neptune – watch out for deception, and try to see as clearly as possible around this time.
10:24 – Third, Pluto turns direct at 26 Cap on Saturday! We tend to feel this energy five days before and after the exact station. Will hidden things come to light? Pluto rules power and domination and can bury or bring things to light – stuff bubbling up from the shadows. We may see more stories of revolutions against the authorities or possibly power dynamics in relationships. Mercury (communication) also trines Pluto (power, obsession, wealth) most of this week and part of next week; you may gain insights into how you want to move forward, and it's a great time to build new skills or develop mastery around things. Doing hard work will bring results (think the 8 of Pentacles card).
13:23 – On Sunday, the theme is DECISION. The Moon enters Capricorn at 12:37 am PT. If you are at a party, the vibe may get serious. Mercury stations direct at 24 Virgo at 2:07 am PT. The First Quarter Moon phase begins at 9 Capricorn at 5:14 pm PT.
15:34 – On Monday, the word of the day is EASE. Approach each task with purpose and take your time.
16:04 – Tuesday's focus is VISION. Make space to think creatively. You may discover innovative solutions. The Moon enters Aquarius at 3:20 am PT.
16:57 – On Wednesday, the word is CHOICES. If you find yourself at a crossroads, reflect before moving forward.
18:12 – On Thursday, the theme is EXPRESSION. Share your vision. The Disseminating Moon phase begins at 28 Aquarius at 2:36 am PT. The Moon enters Pisces at 5:46 am PT.
19:33 – On Friday, the emphasis is ROMANCE. It is a great night for a date. If single, treat yourself to a gift.
20:32 – On Saturday, the word is COMPETITION. Challenge yourself! The Moon enters Aries at 8:56 am PT. Pluto stations direct at 26 Capricorn at 2:56 pm PT.

Astrology highlights for the week of September 25, 2022:
00:49 – This week's theme is: The Power of Love! We enter a week with a focus on the sign of Libra.
00:55 – The three big things this week: First, the week kicks off with a New Moon at 2 Libra! Libra is Cardinal initiating energy. How can you bring more balance and harmony to one-on-one relationships? Venus rules Libra: What do you want to magnetize to yourself? Venus in Virgo trines Pluto; Mars in Gemini contra-parallels Pluto in Capricorn. This is intense and primal – watch out for power struggles. Join Celeste's Libra New Moon webinar on September 25 at noon PT if it suits your fancy! 04:12 – Second, Venus enters its home sign of Libra on Thursday. In Libra, Venus is harmonious and wants to connect and draw to itself what it desires. A few famous Venus-in-Libra folks include Carpool Karaoke's James Cordon (enjoy this episode with Lizzo!), as well as Will and Jada Smith. Someone with Venus in Libra might seek out equal, well-balanced partnerships. This could be a good time for women to possibly make some strides too, because Ceres also enters Virgo this week.
06:36 – So third, as Ceres enters Virgo, we may hear more news about food, grains, the harvest, and/or food shortages (as we also keep in mind that the Saturn-Uranus square is this close!). Also known as Demeter, Ceres is the mother figure and goddess of the harvest. The mythology is around the story of why we have the seasons and why the vegetation "dies" each fall. Folks with this placement tend to nurture others to achieve excellence through applying skills and talents.
09:29 – On Sunday, the theme is COME HITHER. Magnetize what you desire. The week starts with the Moon in Virgo and will conjunct Venus. When the Moon and Venus join once a month, it's known as a Goddess Day! The Moon enters Libra at 9:42 am PT. The New Moon at 2 Libra occurs at 2:54 pm PT.
11:05 – On Monday, the word of the day is REPARTEE. Lighten conversations with a witty turn of phrase.
13:23 – Tuesday's focus is SEDUCTIVE. The eyes are the windows to the soul. Cast your magic spell with a look. The Moon enters Scorpio at 4:14 pm PT.
15:20 – On Wednesday, the word is EXPERIMENT. Try a different approach.

Astrology highlights for the week of September 18, 2022:
00:49 – This week's theme is: Reversal of Fortune! Celeste kicks off the podcast with a look back and how this Mercury retrograde (Rx) has been in the news (the death of Queen Elizabeth, and Ukraine taking back land in the war). The book Celeste mentions is Circe by Madeline Miller.
05:18 – The three big things this week: First, Mercury Rx in Libra opposes Jupiter in Aries 3 times; we are seeing the theme play out (Sep 2, Sep 18 and Oct 12). Jupiter magnifies, and this Mercury opposition can be around putting big plans into motion, which can become a reality or fail due to lack of details. There is a cardinal T-square (2 planets opposite and squaring 1), and the square here is to the asteroid of strategy, Pallas Athene, which can be action-oriented and activating. Celeste discusses how this might play out in the news.
10:11 – Second, there will be a Balsamic Moon phase from Wednesday to Sunday, which occurs right before the New Moon. Each moon phase is about 3.5 days. The Moon is moving slowly; its average speed is 11 – 15 degrees daily. It is an excellent time to slow down and listen to your inner voice.
11:56 – Third, Libra season begins on Thursday, ushering in the Equinox! Relationships are in focus; this is a good time to find balance and harmony and enjoy it. Folks with strong Libra can be great diplomats and lawyers, but on the shadow side, struggle with indecisiveness and going along to get along.
14:40 – On Sunday, the word of the day is BONKERS. The Moon enters Cancer at 12:59 am PT. Try not to get swept away by the emotional energy. Count to 5 before reacting.
19:23 – On Monday, the theme is SURPRISE. You could have a meet-cute.
21:32 – Tuesday's focus is VOW. The Moon enters Leo at 1:37 pm PT. Show leadership.
23:22 – On Wednesday, the word is MEMORIES. The Moon enters its balsamic phase at 14 Leo at 5:33 pm PT. The key to the path forward may come from the past.
24:46 – On Thursday, the theme is DIPLOMACY. Seek win-win solutions. Get quiet and stay present for great ideas. The Sun enters Libra at 6:03 pm PT. Mercury Cazimi at 0 Libra 11:49 pm PT on a world point.
27:50 – On Friday, the emphasis is REVISIT. Put the finishing touches on projects already in motion. The Moon enters Virgo at 12:53 am PT. Mercury reenters Virgo at 5:04 am PT.

Astrology highlights for the week of September 11, 2022:

01:37 – This week's theme is: Life is Just a Fantasy! Neptune – the planet of fantasy – is a key player this week.
01:54 – An interesting Astrology in Action story from last week. Remember when Celeste asked us to look for a woman associated with royalty to make news? The news of Queen Elizabeth’s death came after this podcast was recorded.
02:13 – The three big things this week: First, Pallas Athene (Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war) is associated with pattern recognition and creative intelligence. She is the protectress of the state and is linked to the idea of strategy. Liz Truss (Leo Sun, Pisces Moon) is the new British Prime Minister, and was born when this asteroid was stationary. On the day she was voted in, Jupiter (expansion) was conjunct her Pallas Athene.
03:33 – Second, the Sun moves from 18 to 25 Virgo this week. On Sunday, the Sun trines Uranus (ease and flow) and on Friday, it opposes Neptune. So, you may get excited about something earlier in the week, and then experience some confusion or disappointment as the week progresses. But the fog will likely lift by the weekend, so hang in there. Do keep in mind, though, that deception is possible. Also, with Mercury also retrograde, this is not a weekend to make a significant agreement or contract with anyone. (And if you do need to make an agreement, just triple-check everything!)
07:12 – Third, we welcome a Last Quarter Moon at 24 Gemini on Saturday. There is a mutable T-square present, with the Sun opposite Neptune and square the Moon. As the week goes on, you may start rewinding and see the red flags that you missed, like the Christopher Nolan movie Memento.
08:37 – On Sunday, the word of the day is EXCITEMENT. We start the week with the Moon in Aries, and Mercury retrograde in Libra.
09:38 – On Monday, the theme is ADJUSTMENT. The Sun in Virgo is quincunx Saturn in Aquarius. How can you let go of that which is holding you back?
10:24 – Tuesday's focus is SHARE. The Moon enters Taurus at 4:39am PT, and the Disseminating Moon begins at 6 Taurus at 3:54pm PT. Sharing is caring!
11:45 – On Wednesday, the word is NONCONFORMING. The Sun is on fixed star Denebola at 21 Virgo and is associated with uniqueness. How can you see the world through different eyes and think independently?
12:20 – On Thursday, the theme is CHIT CHAT. It is a wonderful day for witty repartee. The Moon enters Gemini at 1:16 pm PT.
13:06 – On Friday, the emphasis is DREAMY. The Sun in Virgo is opposite Neptune in Pisces.

Astrology highlights for the week of September 4, 2022:
00:49 – This week's theme is: Practical Magic! How can you make the mundane sacred this week?
00:56 – The three big things this week: First, Venus enters Virgo this week! Venus is in fall in this sign, but Celeste brings Venus to life with well-known people - M. Night Shyamalan, Kim Kardashian, Meghan Markle, and Blake Lively. A Virgo Venus expresses love through service (like cooking and running errands for you) and acts of improvement (but do watch out for becoming a little too critical while Venus is in this sign). Celeste gives a mini-lesson on planets in dignity and debility! Dignity speaks to planets in rulership (power, comfortable, confidence, self-assured and responding in a balanced way to pressure) or exaltation (a place of special awards and honors, where the planet will likely act in a friendly and helpful manner, magnanimous, exalted and strong). Debility speaks to planets in detriment (which is the opposite sign of their home sign, and the planet may be tense, ill at ease, worried, and/or likely to act in unbalanced, extreme, or ineffective ways) or fall (the planet can act in extreme and unbalanced ways to get the attention and respect it wants).
09:55 – Second, Mercury stations retrograde (Rx)! This happens on the 9th at 9 Libra; it is an optical illusion with real-world effects. Mercury will appear to go back to 24 Virgo. When Rx, we can experience problems in communication and transportation. Also, our ghosts come back: You may run into or hear from people from your past. Remember: Review, reassess, slow down… all the "re" words are good for Mercury Rx times!
12:28 – Third, we have a Full Moon at 17 Pisces on Saturday! Great time to reflect on the routines and rituals in your life that support you – both physically and emotionally. Uranus is active in this Full Moon, so stay present for unexpected awakenings. This lunation is part of the Moon Phase Family from: mid-March 2021 and mid-December 2021… it will wrap up next June 2023. What is illuminated?
15:24 – On Sunday, the word of the day is ROYAL. Carry yourself with pride. Wear your crown proudly. The Moon enters Capricorn at 7:02 pm PT. Venus enters Virgo at 9:05 pm PT until September 29.
17:03 – On Monday, the theme is THANKFUL. Take a minute to have gratitude for the positives in your life. Consider starting a gratitude jar.
18:21 – Tuesday's focus is PRODUCTIVITY. Tackle your priority tasks first. The Gibbous Moon phase at 29 Capricorn begins at 7:50 pm PT. The Moon enters Aquarius at 8:41 pm PT.
20:00 – On Wednesday, the word is ALLIES. There is the opportunity to connect with a person who can help you move toward your destiny.

00:49 – This week's theme is: Protecting Treasure! The Sun is on fixed Star Thuban (at 7 Virgo), which speaks to "the dragon who guards or hoards." How can you protect what is precious to you this week?
01:32 – The three big things this week: First, Venus in Leo is under pressure as she travels from 20 to 27 Leo. Last week, Venus (love, money, values, relationships) squared the North Node and Uranus; this week, we start the week with her opposition to Saturn, which can feel like a test of commitments. Bernadette Brady says that with an opposition, it can feel like someone or something outside of yourself forces you to make a decision. How can you learn from someone else's actions? Venus is also quincunx Neptune (disillusionment, emotional overwhelm, spirituality) and then quincunx Pluto (power struggles, endings, big money), which can move you into a new situation or feel like a release or letting go. 06:43 – Second, we have a First Quarter (FQ) Moon at 11 Sagittarius on Saturday. The New Moon of December 4, 2021 began this Lunar Phase Family and was a solar eclipse: Stories may be revealed or come to a turning point. Is it time to take action regarding something that began then? The Sun and the Moon square and their rulers are in opposition, bringing some friction (Mercury is at 7 Libra about to go retrograde is opposite Jupiter at 6 Aries). You may see decisions about relationships vs. independence with the Saturn-Uranus square. Try to avoid impulsivity.
09:26 – Third, a great topic for Virgo season is horary astrology, which is one of Celeste's offerings! This technique takes an analytical mind, precision and intuition to practice. People with Virgo energy in their charts tend to gravitate toward it! The Querent asks a clear and concise specific question, and a chart is cast for the moment the astrologer understands the question. (For example, “Will I get the job” or "Where is my lost wedding ring?") For a clear answer, the question is supposed to be personal, pressing, positively framed. A yes/no question is great! And for this technique, it's best if the Querent gives all the background.
14:03 – On Sunday, the word of the day is COMMITMENT. The week starts with the Moon in Virgo. Venus opposes Saturn today, and Mercury is parallel Neptune.
15:13 – On Monday, the theme is AWARENESS. The Moon enters Libra at 2:44 am PT. Chiron is quincunx the South Node in Scorpio.
16:45 – Tuesday's focus is BOLDNESS. The Sun is parallel Altair, and quincunx Jupiter. The Crescent Moon phase begins at 22 Libra at 8:57 pm: We start to see the light and may feel an internal push to move forward.
18:05 – On Wednesday, the word is STRATEGIZE. The Moon enters Scorpio at 10:10am PT.
20:26 – On Thursday, the theme is CONSCIOUSNESS. Mars in Gemini sextiles Jupiter in Aries: Avoid impulsivity.
22:31 – On Friday, the emphasis is EXUBERANCE. The Moon enters Sagittarius at 3:39pm PT. Mercury in Libra opposes Jupiter in Aries.

Astrology highlights for the week of August 21, 2022:
00:49 – As we enter Virgo season, this week's theme is: Discernment! How can you separate the wheat from the chaff and bring order to chaos?
01:08 – The three big things this week: First, Mercury entered its pre- retrograde (Rx) shadow yesterday! Head's up: Mercury will be Rx beginning September 9 (starting at 8.55 Libra) to October 2 (ending at 24.12 Virgo). So the planet of communication will be going over ground this week which will be retread in the future (during the Rx period). Retrogrades are all about "re": Revise, revisit, review! Avoid gossip and being overly critical, and take extra care to notice the details. It is not a great time to sign important documents, as mistakes can be revealed later; however, we can't always avoid that, so if you need to sign something, triple-check everything!
03:33 – Second, the Sun will conjunct the fixed star Regulus. Regulus is the most royal star and is associated with royalty – it's in the heart of the lion! Its placement had been in Leo for centuries but has now moved to 0 Virgo. The star can indicate success and achievement (think honors and awards), but vengeful actions may lead to a sudden downfall. Bernadette Brady has written about this star, as has Astrology King. There are four royal stars (Regulus, Aldebaran at 9 Gemini, Antares at 9 Sagittarius, and Fomalhaut at 3 Pisces), and each is associated with an Archangel. For Regulus, it is Archangel Raphael. Finally, Celeste discusses how this fixed star is on Donald Trump's ascendant.
09:59 – Third, Virgo season begins tomorrow (8:15 pm PT)! Virgo is an earth sign with mutable energy. Mercury rules the sign. Virgo offers the gift of sorting, organizing, and bringing order to chaos. Virgo governs the intestines, so this is a great time to focus on health, eat cleaner, and add routines and rituals to improve your well-being. Watch out for getting overly critical of yourself or others. We also have a New Moon in Virgo on August 27 (1:16 am PT) at 4 degrees. It is an excellent lunation to start new healthy habits! 17:51 – Tuesday's focus is COMPOSURE. Keep your crown on straight and stay unbothered. Power struggles could lead to relationship breakdowns.
18:50 – On Wednesday, the word is FRAZZLED. The Moon enters Leo at 6:09 am PT. Uranus stations at 18 Taurus. Get extra exercise to use the fire wisely.
20:25 – On Thursday, the theme is FLIRTATIOUS. It is a Goddess Day. Venus will kiss the Moon in Leo at 4:50 pm PT. Mercury enters Libra at 6:02 pm PT until September 23.
22:03 – On Friday, the focus is EFFICIENCY. The Moon is void most of the day, so use your energy wisely. Don't push yourself too hard. The Moon enters Virgo at 5:24 pm PT.
23:22 – On Saturday, the word is VITALITY. Set intentions to improve your health. New Moon at 4 Virgo at 1:16am PM.

01:18 – The three big things this week: First, the Sun in Leo opposes Saturn in Aquarius on Sunday the 14th! The Sun represents our ego, our confidence, our essence, and our vitality. Saturn is boundaries, restrictions, and discipline. (Think “ST” words when you think of Saturn: structure, stamina, stability.) Be aware that this transit can show up as feeling lonely or like you’re up against a wall – so be gentle with yourself.
03:03 – Second, the Last Quarter Moon at 26 Taurus is happening on Thursday. This is the psychological integration portion of this moon cycle, from three weeks ago (the Leo New Moon), as well as from the eclipses and the longer 2.5-year cycle. Think about what goals you set at the Leo New Moon, and how that is going for you. Also, this lunation is part of the Lunar Phase Family: Think back to May 22, 2020 (2 Gemini), February 19, 2021 (1 Gemini), November 19, 2021 (27 Taurus), and August 18, 2022. What story has been revealed to you, and how are you taking action differently? Also, Mars is at the last degree (anaretic degree) of Taurus during this lunation. The Sabian symbol for 30 Taurus is “A peacock parading on the terrace of an old castle.”
10:50 – Third, Mars enters Gemini until March 23, 2023! Mars will be in Gemini for almost seven months, an extra long time! Which house does Gemini rule in your chart? Mars will be retrograde later in the year, so notice if a story is showing up in your life. One thing to consider is your cyber security, but Celeste will talk more about that down the road. 00:49 – This week's theme is: The Fool's Journey. Think about fresh starts! Have a beginner's mind, and be open to discovery. Try to be optimistic and excited about what life brings.
01:22 – The three big things this week: First, we are still coming off the Mars, Uranus, North Node (NN) conjunction. In the news, we've seen this through Monkeypox, the increase in interest rates, and the war in Ukraine. Also, this week, Mars in Taurus squares Saturn at 22 Aquarius – both in fixed signs. This can feel like the gas vs. the brake. Watch out for delays and feeling blocked and frustrated. Remember, how can we embrace the fool going on his merry way? Use the energy of drive and discipline to keep things moving forward!
06:54 – Second, the Moon is out of bounds most of the week (Sun – Thurs). This occurs when the Moon moves past the declination of the Sun; it takes on a Uranian flavor. People may be extra this week and want to do what they want! How can you stay grounded?

Also, Mars is on Algol and trine Pluto, which might feel like an intense power struggle.
